Chris and Lisa Frith
Lead Pastor
Chris and Lisa have spent the last 12 years happily married and serving in full time youth ministry in Alabama, Georgia and Texas. Both graduates of Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas, they were honored to return to the school in 2002 as Directors of Youth for the Nations and the School of Youth.
Thrilled to be back in the Deep South, they know God has led them to plant Legacy Church in Dothan "for such a time as this." They enjoy watching football and movies with friends and taking memorable family vacations. But hands down, it is spending quality time with their 3 children Allison, Nicholas and Grant that brings the greatest joy of all. |

Spiritual Oversight

Gary Frith, Tim Fox, Chris Frith, Drew LaPres, Nate Smoker, & Keith Frith |
Advisory Team
"Plans go wrong for lack of advice; many advisers bring success." Proverbs 15:22
God's word tells us there is safety in a multitude of counsel and that advisers bring success. We believe elders are the Biblical model for spiritual leadership & oversight in the Church. In this launching season of Legacy we believe a full fledged eldership would be premature. However, in the importance of oversight, accountability, and for decision making purposes we have created an advisory team. As God directs, this advisory team will eventually dissolve in order to install the Deacon ministry and eldership of the Church.
Currently, the advisory team is made of 3 Legacy staff pastors and 3 lay people within the Church who are deeply committed to Legacy. We believe this brings a healthy balance and perspective to the team. |

Spiritual Covering

Legacy firmly believes in having a Church & Network covering. Our immediate covering is New Covenant Church in Thomasville, Georgia where Chris & Lisa served as youth pastors from 1997-2002. Pastor Barry Perez & the Elders of NCC serve first and foremost as a prayer covering for Legacy Church and hold our leadership spiritually accountable. We also report to them for financial accountability. In October of this year, Legacy Church was ‘sent out’ by New Covenant with hands being laid on our team by their Elders (Acts 13:2,3). They have also come alongside to financially support Legacy in its first year. Currently, the leadership of Legacy is prayerfully seeking the right "fit" for our network covering.
