Before Legacy Church became a reality, there was a dream being birthed in the hearts of Chris & Lisa Frith. They sat down one day and began to transfer this God-dream to paper and ended up with 'We See a PLACE'.
Then the LORD answered me and said:
Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come,

Where people who are just driving by immediately feel compelled to come inside & see what's happening.
Where people can't wait to meet together and once there they don’t want to leave.
Where exuberant & aggressive praise & worship is happening so much that the people have no choice but to fall to their knees & worship their creator.
Where the Word of God is so valued & cherished that the people can't wait to hear it so they can apply to their lives & their world.
With an “open altar” where both powerful and intimate ministry (salvation, healing, deliverance, times of refreshing, etc.) consistently takes place and where the Holy Spirit has free reign.
Where the atmosphere has been prepared for an encounter with God so when the people come in empty, needy, & burdened, they leave full, charged, & challenged.
That has excellent facilities & ample resources to be used as a blessing not only to the local body, but also to the entire community.
Full of diversity in color & culture which expresses to the community around them the power of unity in the blended body of Christ.
With a multi-generational mindset in ministry & purpose, so that the entire family will be connected and planted in the House.
Where the 5 fold ministry & the Gifts of the Holy Spirit are evident & operating within the Body.
Where the church government includes the leadership of elders & deacons.
That releases its pastoral staff to organize, equip, develop, lead, impart to & care for the flock that God has entrusted to them.
That values and strongly supports ministry to children, youth, & college students
That has a fully functioning, hands-on ministry to the poor, widows, and orphans.
That has a “come as you are” welcome mat where everyone feels at home & totally accepted when they walk in the door.
Where passion lives and produces passionate people, worshippers, & influencers.
That wins the city and shares its secret with the world. |
